Toolroom announces UK weekend 2022 with shows in London and Brighton
Toolroom brings a phenomenal array of established and upcoming talent to two very special events in February, as the iconic record and events company takes over the South.
Toolroom have long been established as one of the most innovative and passionate champions of cutting-edge, dancefloor-focussed electronic music in the world. The atmosphere at their events is second to none thanks to a consistently strong music policy, industry-leading talent, next-level production, and most importantly, a welcoming and knowledgable crowd.
Fans of Toolroom – and of quality club nights in general – are in for a treat this February, as they touch down in London and Brighton for a takeover weekend of epic proportions.
Fresh from releasing his debut album Untold Business in 2021, Toolroom founder Mark Knight will be headlining both the London and Brighton shows. Back touring the globe after an enforced break due to the pandemic, the time away allowed Mark to reflect on his musical direction and return with renewed vigour and passion for the craft. One of the most consistently exciting and technically gifted selectors on the planet, Mark will be leading from the front and treating the Ministry of Sound and Concorde 2 crowds to a masterclass.
The talent doesn’t stop there. Across both events you’ll find some of the biggest names in electronic music, from established acts like Toolroom stalwarts Leftwing : Kody and Illyus & Barrientos, to US legend Gene Farris and UK polymathic producer GotSome and bonafide hitmakers Guz and Chaney, all of whom bring their own distinctive sound and identity to the lineups.
One of Toolroom’s biggest achievements over the years – and increasingly so in recent times due to the success of their pioneering Toolroom Academy – has been identifying and nurturing new talent. This is reflected in the depth of their lineups, especially at the London show in February, with emerging artists ESSEL, Carly Wilford, Danny Rhys and Ryan Spicer given a platform to demonstrate exactly why they’re held in such high regard.
For close to two decades, Toolroom have been championing the very finest in tech house, house and techno, and these events offer the ideal balance of the label’s heritage while giving a glimpse of what the future holds. Both are guaranteed sell- outs, so don’t miss your chance to be a part of Toolroom’s ever-evolving history.
