BuggedOut! In Dreamland

The Martinez Brothers, Richy Ahmed, Ben UFO, Joy Orbison, Artwork, Jackmaster and Groove Armada announced for BuggedOut! In Dreamland’s first expedition, with much more TBA.

Promising to be an end of summer session like no other, BuggedOut! in Dreamland is shaping up to be one of the not-to-miss parties for the diaries of any fun-loving, electronic music head. Seminal party crew BuggedOut! are now proud to reveal the first names joining them on the Margate seafront this summer, including The Martinez Brothers, Richy Ahmed, Joy Orbison, Ben UFO, Jackmaster, Artwork and Groove Armada, all set to join across the one-day extravaganza held in the town’s much loved, newly-renovated Dreamland theme park. With ticket price including access to the park, a taste of all the DJs, as well as the chance to ride unlimited fairground rides ALL DAY LONG, now is the time to secure a place at BuggedOut! in Dreamland 2016.

A festival site with more personality than you can shake a stick at, BuggedOut! have pulled together some of the worlds biggest names to play at their Dreamland edition. Coming all the way from the USA are don duo The Martinez Brothers; a pair who can light up any dance floor with their blend of timeless classics and grooving house jams. Expect them to bring that Martinez magic to Dreamland’s retro-tinged arena’s. Another big name joining is Crosstown Rebels poster boy Richy Ahmed, a selector loved the world over for his sleek pick of deep house cuts. Ben UFO will be representing in Margate too, a true DJ’s DJ and all-round favourite who can manoeuvre his way through bass-backed garage, soul-searching disco and everything in-between with seamless ease. On a bassier tip, Joy Orbison will bring his signature blend of bass, garage, house and techno for an underground education. Previously seen at January’s edition of Bugged Out (in Bognor) creating conga lines around the arcade- esteemed party starter Artwork joins the line up, alongside his pal and Numbers boss man Jackmaster, who will bring a touch of Glaswegian energy to the South East coast. Rounding off the first set of heavyweight names for the festivals’ debut outing will be internationally revered duo Groove Armada, who have carefully crafted a reputation for their high energy sets. With plenty more acts still to be announced in the coming months: this intimate 3500 capacity one-dayer is a sea side adventure not to be missed.

Using Dreamland’s epic rides, rollercoasters, arcades, emporiums as usual spaces for shows, BuggedOut! In Dreamland promises to be a real adventure for attendees. On top of the acts announced, BuggedOut! will invite a whole host of the usual friends and family to play, plus some very special guests to join the ride…

Increasingly seen as a new creative seaside hub, Margate is a gem of the Kent coastline, with Dreamland itself being the vision of design pioneer Wayne Hemingway MBE. A developing local scene is being spear-headed by London expats Sink The Pink parties and many more leading creatives finding the town a glorious seaside retreat. Margate is easily accessible by train from London or any major UK city, and has plenty to offer in terms of location with a host of hotels, B&B’s, restaurants and bars to enjoy. For those wanting to make a weekend out of it, there are plenty of accommodation options in the local area.
