Events

Every day each scene offers a lineup worthy of the most prolific clubs, making Caprices Festival an almost continuous celebration for 4 days – starting with the Opening Night Thursday, April 6 at 19h at The Moon. The stage, located this year at the foot of the gondola of les Violettes, will have Marco Carola, Marco Faraone, Leon and Paco Osuna demonstrating their turntable skills.

“Spearheading Italian techno for 20 years, Marco Carola will be at Caprices Festival for the third time,’ says Maxime Léonard, the director of the Caprices, ‘he really achieved superstar status last summer in Ibiza. I did everything to get him here in Crans-Montana for Caprices 2017.’

Friday, April 7 marks a second opening, that of the second stage of Caprices Festival: the daytime scene of MDRNTY. On the terrace of les Violettes, culminating at 2’208m altitude, with its unique view of the Alps from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc, the stage that became the emblem of clubbing in the daytime will host The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones and Osunlade for its 2017 launch.

“Last year, the back-to-back with Jamie Jones and The Martinez Brothers was just amazing. They immediately asked to come back for the 2017 edition, so we had to welcome them again this year. Obvious choice.”

For the third day of Caprices Festival, Saturday, April 8, the three stages will be brimming with electronic music stars. First, from 12am at MDRNTY with a back-to-back by Seth Troxler and Ricardo Villalobos. Rare and unmissable.

“Needless to say more’ I believe that a unique collaboration between two artists of this calibre can only create an unforgettable afternoon. A moment only MDRNTY@Caprices can provide. One reason that transformed my job into a passion.”

For the evening, The Moon will be the centre stage for a very techno atmosphere, with Talaboman (the duo of Spaniard John Talabot and Swede Axel Boman), Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, and Mano Le Tough.

“It will go boom at The Moon on Saturday. The mixes by Talaboman are part of all my current playlists. It’s just unmissable.”

How to finish off Caprices Festival 2017 in style’ With Sven Väth, tINI and Dana Ruh behind the wheels of the MDRNTY stage the afternoon of Sunday, April 9th. With a breathtaking view on the Alps, with an indescribable vibe to share with friends; the signature of a MDRNTY@Caprices.

“For the third consecutive year, Sven Väth will close Caprices Festival and will let us leave with his sounds running in our head. As always, we already know that we will live a unique moment.’ concludes Maxime Léonard.

New stage added: Cry d’Er ‘ Club d’Altitude

Taking advantage of the commercial and artistic success of its new formula – orientated only on electronic music – Caprices expands to welcome in the best conditions for its audience and its artists. This year, the festival opens a new stage branded Caprices. Launched this season, the Cry d’Er – Club Altitude is a collaboration between CMA (‘Remontées Mécaniques de Crans-Montana Aminona SA’) for the infrastructure and Caprices Festival for the artistic choices. This new place of relaxation and clubbing will be inaugurated on December 24 and from Saturday, April 8, 2017 will host an event during Caprices Festival, whose programming will be unveiled soon.

“The renewal of our offer, the constant questioning to serve the public and the artists, small extras that make the difference, that’s what makes Caprices Festival a unique moment,’ explains Maxime Leonard, ‘that’s what makes Caprices and MDRNTY unmissable events. But rest assured, we have not finished surprising you.”

Crazy, unique, exclusive and innovative. Unforgettable. Unmissable. 100% Caprices.
