Francesca Lombardo and her environmental campaign, LIFE OF RELEAF, today announce a 16 hour stream event, ‘LIFE STREAM’ to commemorate International Day Of Forests on 21st March.

Established by the United Nations in 2012, International Day Of Forests celebrates and raises awareness of the importance of all types of forests. Climate change and deforestation are at the centre of global concern, and classically trained, DJ, producer and live artist Francesca Lombardo has avidly championed the issue through her LIFE OF RELEAF project, which seeks to mobilise the music industry into supporting reforestation.

On March 21st Francesca is gathering together some of her closest friends and allies in the fight against climate change to help raise awareness and encourage the public to donate money to plant trees. 100% of the donations received will go towards planting trees via planting partner, One Tree Planted.

Francesca Lombardo will be joined by an incredible line up of artists including Davide Squillace, Agents of Time, Renato Ratier, Soul Clap, PillowTalk, Maher Daniel, Lauren Lane, Doorly, The Orb, and Francesco Tristano with his live piano ‘Bach to basics’ set. The ‘LIFE STREAM’ event will also feature presentations from environmental enthusiasts including Anthony Middleton from Audiofly, Greta Spota of WWF Mexico, Emilie McGlone from Parties4Peace, and Miguel Solari from My Plastic Free Store. Other partners and supporters of the event include DJ Mag, RA, Ibiza Sonica, Mayan Warriors, Space Miami, Gardens Of Babylon, Housepitality and SXM Festival, who will all help amplify the message through their networks.
