Drug | 11.07.2016After this weekends tragic events at this years Scotland’s T in the Park, where two young people lost their lives. Police have now announced that there could be fake ecstasy pills in circulation within the Scotland area. Although the deaths at the T in the Park are unrelated. This is a worrying time for drug users in the UK.
The Ecstasy Pill is described as green with a Rolex stamp embedded on the front. The pill could contain para-Methoxyamphetamine (PMA) which caused multiple deaths a few years back.
Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland has recovered a small number of Green Rolex-type pills at T in the Park and is warning festival goers to beware of any others that may be in circulation.”
Although two people died at the festival over the weekend, these pills aren’t believed to be the cause.
“Pills similar to these have caused serious harm in the past although there is no evidence at present to link these to any other incidents at the festival. People are reminded there is no safe way of taking drugs and T in the Park has a zero tolerance drugs policy.”
