Spanish authorities have put a warning out to party goers of the white island of Ibiza. The announcement comes after robbery suspects were searched and were in possession of ecstasy tablets that were five times stronger than normal pills.

The ecstasy pills are said to be shaped and stamped with the popular techno night ‘Music On’ held in the super club Amnesia. The two suspects were caught with 90 pills, it is believed that there are more circulating the island.

The press statement read – .

‘The really alarming thing about this case is that an ecstasy tablet normally has about 80 milligrams of MDMA and in this case, the 90 pills which imitated the logo of a well-known Ibiza party, had 400mg,”

“This amount is around five times the normal dose and a single tablet can produce death.”

“Other serious side-effects include heart attacks, epileptic attacks, cardiac arrhythmia, and seizures as well as hyperthermia where the body temperature rises about 39 degrees Celsius.”
