- Dance Therapy (Part 1)
Robsoul Recordings | 13.12.2019
Dance Therapy… We all know it. We all do it. We all love it.
That endorphin rush from that magic combo of the frequencies, the feels and that fluid motion your body makes when the right groove hits the right spot. Nothing can beat it. You know this. Robsoul know this. French artist Dan Corco knows this. It’s why he’s named not one but two EPs after it.
New to Robsoul, not new to the game, Dan’s been active across house and techno since the early 2000s on labels such as Rotation, Circle, Goodlife, Famille Electro. Now he makes his debut on Phil Weeks’ label and this is the first part. Four juicy house records laced with more funk than a George Clinton appreciation society and the warmest production this side of the river Seine, everything about this EP is timeless and universal. From the playful coohs and happy-slappy walking bassline of EP opener ‘Golden Ratio’ right through to the final big belly boogie groove of ‘Merci Au Revoir’, this is an EP you could drop to any dancefloor, any age, any country and you know these are the right grooves that will hit the right spot. And this is only half of it… There are four more therapy sessions to come!
Dan Corco’s ‘Dance Therapy (Part 1)’ is set for release on Robsoul Recordings this December.
