Heavy House Society label owner, Sidney Charles drops 4 original bangers for the clubs this summer on his ‘Under Pleasure EP’

Sidney Charles needs little introduction. Having already been the best selling Minimal Deep Tech artist on both Beatport and Traxsource, Sidney’s raw and engaging sound is well established, and rightfully he takes his place amongst the DJ elite.

Having recently played huge events such as Ibiza’s Amnesia, PIV Festival and Colorado Charlie, Charles drops a slick deep, groovy, fresh and funky 4 tracker ready to take the clubs and festivals by storm this summer.

The title track ‘Under Pleasure’ is a smooth and sexy groover. Lush, deep pads float over the intro before a funky and well rounded bassline skips in to get the floor moving. Analog synths and a cheeky little vocal snippet bring you into the breakdown with a spacey lead which rolls you back into the funky old school groove.

‘Pulse’ is a phat funky and chunky track with a big booty of a bassline. As the song moves along, an array of bouncy spacey synths intertwine with an acid lead which seamlessly cascades into an airy breakdown. This track will take you on a magical floating ride of funk and groove all the way home.

‘Controlled Chaos’ oozes uplifting energy which comes from the dreamy pads and big raw drums. A dizzy synth and an old school acid lead bound along the bouncy bassline, which all weave in and out of each other creating a hypnotic kaleidoscope of audible colour.

‘Summer In The City’ is a deep down low slung roller. Dreamy, uplifting pads make you imagine looking over your favourite city at sunset while you gently bob along to the refined percussion and smooth bassline. Little bongo lines and synth stabs playfully dart around a reverberated piano to complete this sophisticated track.

All in all this is an intelligent EP showcasing Sidney’s skills to produce tracks for any moment and these are ready to be played out across the globe at festivals and clubs this summer.
