Darius Syrossian’s Moxy Muzik label celebrates its 4th Birthday in the only way it knows how: with some more red hot and super fresh house music from core associates and the boss himself. In that four years the label has become a mainstay of the underground with sell-out events and a raw, expressive sound. It deals in proper house music that is packed with energy and emotion and never follows trends, but instead simply blows up the dance floor with style.

Up first, TomRob – Professor Shellington (Darius Syrossian Remix) brings slinky drums and catchy grooves. The percussion is razor sharp and the melodies and bass are nimble to keep you on your toes. Phil Weeks then offers the low slung Superfly, a classy deep house cut with playful chord stabs breaking out to bring the party. The Fabe remix ups the energy levels with razor-sharp percussion and infectious tech house energy.

The Olive F ‘Xtra Fly’ Remix of the same tune then has a swinging US house feel with clipped vocals and lithe synths. Darius then offers the muscular Funkflex, a house tune laced with smart hip-hop samples and golden chords that warm the soul. Last of all is Dream Team (Dub Mix) which is a powerful dub house cut with textured snares, seductive vocals and a killer bassline.
