Nightvision presents LEITH DOCKS SOUND SYSTEM
Following on from the huge and successful Easter Music Festival gathering that was Terminal V @ The Royal Highland Centre. the Nightvision team now announce the launch of a new project, Leith Docks Sound System.
It takes place at a special waterfront location located within The Ocean Terminal Centre, where old and new architecture mixes with marine industrialism on August Bank Holiday’the closing weekend of the Edinburgh Fringe.
It is set to feature a mix of big international names like Peggy Gou, Patrick Topping, Midland, Mike Servito, Richy Ahmed, EJECA + more acts TBA running over 2 nights with a wealth of local talent taking over the outdoor terrace overlooking the waterside, with more live acts and performers popping up bringing a touch of the Fringe to Leith.
Paying homage to Leith and the iconic location of The Leith Docks Waterfront, this unique setting will come alive with world class light, sound and visual production across 1 main indoor stage and the breath-taking views of the outdoor terrace, overlooking The Royal Yacht Britannia.
The line-up mixes the best of house music from names like Graded boss and party rocking DJ Midland and, break through sensation Peggy Gou who releases her innovative sounds on the mighty Ninja Tune. Paradise Ibiza resident Patrick Topping also plays with tech house titan Richy Ahmed who runs Four Thirty Two and is a regular at Ibiza’s finest clubs. Then comes Detroit’s Mike Servito, the classy techno talent from the US who holds down a celebrated residency at The Bunker in New York. Finally is Ejeca, the Belfast man known for his melodic, euphoric house.
