Defected had joined up with Point Blank Music School to bring you unique teaching opportunities from Defected’s world-class DJs and A&R team. Taught at Point Blank’s brand new London recording studios with international artists including Copyright, Man Without a Clue and main man Simon Dunmore, you’ll learn how to create tracks using Ableton Live 9 as well as mixing with vinyl, CD and digital platforms.

These exclusive sessions will give an insight into the creative techniques utilised by much-loved producers and DJs at the top of their game in the house music scene. A&R-focussed sessions will also provide inside knowledge to successfully build a profile as an artist and how to stand out when submitting music to labels. Unique DJ masterclass sessions from the incredibly talented Sam Holt (Copyright) will give you insider tips and tricks on how to prepare your sets, read the crowd, and bring originality and flair to your mixes.

This seven-day course is a one-off opportunity to learn from the combined expertise of Point Blank and Defected, and the course is limited to just 16 places.
