Desert Hearts Records welcomes French outfit Amine Edge & DANCE alongside collaborator Solo Tamas for a brand new single dubbed ‘Quick and Dirty.’ Festival and label veteran wAFF joins on for remix duties. 

‘Quick and Dirty’ sees Amine Edge & DANCE and Solo Tamas diverge from their usual sounds into a more loungey direction. They’ve paired a voluptuous bassline with their keen sense of percussion, luscious chord stabs, and enigmatic vocals. Lo-fi filtering ties it all together, culminating in a sultry composition. wAFF kicks up the energy for his rendition, creating a dancefloor-ready weapon toting an increased tempo and gritty, segmented 303 lines.

Amine & DANCE, Solo Tamas, and wAFF all carry long standing legacies in the underground. Amine Edge & DANCE are well known for pioneering the modern G House movement, going on to found their now iconic imprint CUFF. Solo Tamas’ instantly recognizable vocal stylings and raw beats that have garnered releases on labels like Cuttin’ Headz, Repopulate Mars, and Elrow. wAFF’s talents have carried him across the world, gracing stages from BPM to Tomorrowland, fabric to Space Miami. His music’s been signed to the likes of Moon Harbour, Desolat, and Sven Väth’s Cocoon.

Desert Hearts Records continues to reach new heights. In its six-year tenure, the imprint has grown from a free download platform to a premier American hub for house and techno, signing international superstars ranging from Rodriguez Jr to Nathan Barato. The label kicked off 2020 with a series of EPs from the Desert Hearts Crew of Mikey Lion, Marbs, Lee Reynolds, and Porky, with even more top tier releases in the pipeline for the rest of the year.
