Producer and songwriter Artche burst onto the scene in 2018 with ‘Voice of Silence’ a collaboration with Cristoph which was signed to Eric Prydz’s Pryda label and reached Beatport no.1. Since then he has gone from strength to strength releasing on a plethora of well established labels such as Terminal M, Yoshitoshi & Selador to name a few and in turn being supported by the scenes big hitters Eric Prydz, Pete Tong & Kolsch.
He joins the Stress roster with the hypnotic and dance floor ready Footsteps / Two Minds. Opener ‘Footsteps’ packs some serious punch with heavy subs and deep melodic grooves, all the while Artche’s Depeche Mode-esque vocal being front and centre. On the flip is ‘Two Minds’, a record made for the big rooms. Building incredible atmosphere right from the off leading to lush synths and driving bass lines, it’s one for the peak time.
The Stress label brought the world many seminal house tracks including Bedrock ‘For You Dream Of’, Last Rhythm – Last Rhythm and Greed’s ‘Pump Up The Volume’ to name a few. During the 1990’s Stress was considered one of the world’s greatest record labels where it was known for it’s growing influence on the progressive house scene. It gave birth to the early careers of iconic producers Sasha and John Digweed. Today it is carving out a whole new sound with a new generation of producers including Prospa, Will Easton, Tommy Farrow, BluePrint and many more.
