Amsterdam’s finest burgeoning pair deliver high-energy rhythms and explosive vibes primed for DJ use.

DJ and producer duo Black Girl / White Girl treat us to another superb record with new two-track EP ‘Cinderella 99’, out via Skream’s Of Unsound Mind imprint. 

Following January’s classy ‘Raw Trax 888’ EP on Food Music, Karin and Ty now debut on OUM with two in-your-face, maximum impact tracks. ‘Cinderella 99’ opens with a thudding kick and rock-solid drum programming, before a modulated disco sample winds through layers of metallic hi-hats, explosive toms, and hypnotizing sonic psychedelia. The B-side ‘Disco Peacock’ cranks up the pressure further with intricate, pummeling drums and a frantic vocal sample made to absolutely shut down dance floors.

The EP’s sound leans heavily on disco, house and techno structures, further re-affirming BGWG’s ability to forge an intriguing sonic path and stay ahead of the curve.
