ZKY’s Ground Service Records returns this November with a new release under his collaborative guise, Cab Drivers, featuring two new cuts in the shape ‘Lagoon Of Endless Green / Second Mush’ coming on green vinyl.

Releasing material since the early nineties the Cab Drivers duo comprised of Jens Augustowsky aka Zky and Daniel Paul have long been respected figures for their craft of raw, understand house music. Heading up the long running Cabinet Records label together the pair have had steady output over the past two decades. Last year saw ZKY launch Ground Service with a solo EP, followed by a recent EP from Berlin House aficionado Cinthie to critical acclaim and here the fledgling label continues with its third EP, a rare Cab Drivers release outside of Cabinet Records.

‘Lagoon Of Endless Green’ leads with a dynamically evolving robust rhythm, fluttering chord sequences and soft, ethereal pad swells all flowing in unison to create a groove-driven, hypnotic workout.

‘Second Mush’ follows on the flip-side, employing squelching 303 licks, crunchy drums and modulating percussion leading the focal stages which ease in classic house tropes, tension building strings, choppy stabs and a soaring lead to round out the package.

Cab Drivers ‘Lagoon Of Endless Green / Second Mush’ is out 19th November.
