MicroHertz makes no mistakes as they continue to sign top of the line releases, and the new ‘Cat Nap EP’ from Craig & Grant Gordon continues in the same fashion.

With releases on top notch labels like Seven Dials, Elrow, Sanity & Whippin, the two brothers (hailing from the West Midlands) are riding high on the support of superstars like Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, wAFF and many more. Their debut on MicroHertz starts off with ‘Cat Nap’, where it does not take long before the hypnotic bass line joins up with the groove to create some dance floor havoc. Strong funky beats, lush pads, trippy effects and huge drops completes this stomper of an A side.

Up next we have ‘Common Ground’, a sexy percussion groove gets your hips to move right from the start. Steadily building the groove to a crescendo, the bassline drops like a ton of bricks and the track ignites, this is a great track for the floor.

To close this brilliant EP out, the boys present ‘Tuesday Comedown’ and we only imagine that this being dropped at a packed Circo Loco on a hot Monday afternoon in Ibiza has something to do with the name of the track. Heavy on the beats, hypnotic in its groove, there’s no surprise when that bassline drops takes this track to the next level.
