Swiss born but Berlin based DAVID KENO is next up on the always excellent MOTHER RECORDINGS label. Once more this crew have signed up a producer who knows how to get a floor sweaty and he does so across two fine productions. It is just the latest in a long line of great releases for DAVID KENO, who has been in the game a decade and has churned out many club hits, been remixed by Trentemoller and also runs his own label Keno Records. Snatch!, Dirtybird and more also relate his wares but few are as fine as this new one.

PLAY is a fun track that locks you in a tense build up before letting the pressure go with big drums, fluid wooden hits and nasty blasts of sub bass. It is pure Tech House music for good times, and YOUTH follows the same arc – playing with you to start with then letting you go with a big drop that oozes bass and soulful synth stabs. Both tracks are expertly designed for DJs and dancers alike.
