Lee Foss’s Repopulate Mars invites Deeper Purpose & Intrusive back to the label with a pair of volatile cuts entitled ‘The System’, dropping on Valentine’s Day.

2019 was a big year for Deeper Purpose & Intrusive, who hit the top end of the Beatport charts with their ‘Manipulation EP’ on Repopulate Mars, as well as picking up fans like Fisher and Nic Fancuilli before going on to put out further big tunes on VIVa and South of Saturn. Their upbeat grooves and feel good vibes continue to mesh perfectly making for a brilliant brace of tracks in their return to Repopulate Mars.

Big opener ‘The System’ has brain-frying synth leads and tense chords that make for turbocharged and future facing grooves that fully lift off at the midpoint. After that arresting crescendo, a warm, bubbling house groove carries you into the next dimension alongside a wealth of trippy effects and sci-fi details.

The excellent ‘Dangerous’ then mixes up a kinetic, tightly-coiled house rhythm with warped synths, alien sound effects and a menacing bassline that pumps the party over and over. It is perfectly raw, hard hitting tech for the late night hours.
