Following a slew of well-received releases and standout performances, we welcome Too Many Rules label favourite Jairo Beltrami to the label with an impressive debut release. ‘Ibiza Calling’ features two melodically-charged original cuts alongside a spirited remix from Manchester native Jimmy Switch.

‘Ibiza’ kicks the release off with rolling grooves and a moody bassline whilst soulful vocal licks and fizzing percussion orbit the mix – adding endless energy. Rippling synth lines and and atmospheric breaks lead into climatic builds and potent drops to deliver a uniquely charming dancefloor bomb.

‘Calling’ comes next, delivering a sense of enchantment from the outset. Afro-laced drum work and swaying percussive flair push the track forwards alongside a sea of dreamlike melodies and another hypnotic vocal hook, keeping you anchored into its unrelenting tide of musicality and loosened grooves from start to finish.

Jimmy Switch’s remix of ‘Calling’ sees off the release with a bumpy Tech re-rub of the original mix. Punchy drums and subtle hat sequencing create bounce and flow alongside a score of offbeat fills, organ riffs and a catchy bassline, tied together by creative vocal chops to deliver a quirky club cut with plenty of personality.
