Dutchman and A&R for Airtime Records, Jamback began his musical journey as a classically trained musician before coming over to the ‘dark side’ when he was old enough to go clubbing. A firm favourite at world-renowned local venues such as Now&Wow, Toffler and Reverse, his production life is beginning to take shape with releases on Airtime, Whippin and OVRDOSE Deep (with Dande) and high-profile support from peers such as East End Dubs and Toman.

In the Roaring Twenties, a surging economy created an era of mass consumerism, as Jazz-Age flappers flouted Prohibition laws and the Harlem Renaissance redefined arts and culture, this is where Jamback took inspiration for the name of this new release.

Opening with the title track, we are quickly thrust into Jamback’s 90’s influenced House sound with a twist. Pianos, snappy Garage percussions and warm kicks greet the listener with easy charm. A cheeky bass line shakes things up early on before the warmth and familiarity of the jammin’ key lines get you running for the dance floor. Remixer Robbie Doherty has had success with PIV as well as signings to Cr2, Whoyostro and more. He adds his studio talents to the lead track with a respectful reimagination that polishes off an already fantastic EP.

‘Motion’ keeps it firmly House with a deeper, dubbed out vibe and a super famous vocal. Rubbery bass and nuanced disco FX add to the drama. ‘Pick Up’ stays deep and groovy with funky guitar licks and acid flecks. Resistance is futile!
