Up-and-coming UK talent Jamie Fielding launches his new label uncut-GOLD with ‘History Lessons’, backed by a remix from Niteplan.

Based in the South East of England, emerging DJ/producer Jamie Fielding has had a big few years, with the self- taught talent catching the attention of world-renowned star Jamie Jones at the end of 2020. With a selection of unreleased tracks in rotation for the Hot Creations and Paradise chief, Fielding quickly debuted on Hottrax with his ‘Mind 3’ EP, before releasing material via the likes of Solid Grooves Raw, Sola and COCO in the months since. Building on a busy start to the year, the end of April sees him launch his own label uncut-GOLD – a platform aiming to push ‘out there jams’ with artistic references to Fielding’s love for ancient Egypt – with his new single ‘History Lessons’, accompanied by a remix from close friend and Nitecutz label owner, Niteplan.

Another track already in Jamie Jones’ record bag, ‘History Lessons’ is a low-slung and moody cut with textured hats, warping bass and hypnotic vocals taking things deep into the night. Delivering his take on the track, fellow UK talent Niteplan’s remix is a wormhole of a production, with rolling percussion, tough kicks, squelchy stabs and further tripped-out vocals shaping up the package.
