Jamie Jones kicks off the summer with ‘My Paradise’ on Defected records.

There are few names as instantly recognisable, revered and respected in the world of dance music than Jamie Jones. Renowned DJ and producer, Hot Creations label boss and founder of global event brand Paradise, his influence is felt across the scene as a tastemaker and innovator.

Releasing ‘Rushing’, his joint label debut with Darius Syrossian on Defected in the summer of 2019, he now returns to the imprint for another dancefloor heater set to be one of the summer’s must-know tracks ‘My Paradise’. Bearing the same name as Jamie’s party, synonymous with warm Ibiza nights and world class selection, Jamie explores disco influences with an earworm vocal and elegant keys, while his signature high-energy bassline and groove give this release boundless dancefloor appeal. 

“I remember back in my early Ibiza seasons around 2000. There were these big anthems that used pumped up 909 hi hats, a heavy kick drum, a looping disco groove.
