Late March provides us with this super EP from “Lau Frank” on “Gruuv” records. “Body Count” containing four fresh tracks with remixes produced by “Dachshund” and “Tiger Stripes”.

Lau Frank have been releasing material since 2011 and the young Argentinean’s were brought to the attention of “Gruuv” label heads Audiojack when they released “Warehouse Fire” on Bosom in 2014. The track became a mainstay in their DJ box but was also a perfect example of the musical direction this boys were undertaking.

“7am” kicks the EP off smoothy bringing in soft chords, organic percussive rolls and beautiful crafted sub tones. “Dachshund” got there hands on this one, turning the energy levels up with a vacillating bass and shuffling snares.

On the “B Side” we have “Body Count” which welcomes back “Tiger Strip” to the label with a fantastic remix. The original providing snaking bass tones and low pitched vocal murmurs but we have to say the crown jewel of this package is the “Tiger Strip” remix.
