LB aka LABAT kicks off 2023 with a bang, delivering his new single ‘Right Now’ alongside a remix of Big Saldo’s Chunkers boss and much-loved Berlin-based DJ, Sally C.

Lyon’s LB aka LABAT has been releasing his distinctive twist on House, Techno, and all things in between over the past decade and in February of this year he inaugurated his new label Poumpet Records, a platform launched to release a single from the French artist every month alongside occasional remixes from friends in the industry.

The original mix of ‘Right Now’ steps up first, merging together gritty drums, fluttering low-end pulsations, rave sirens, vintage chord stabs and an amalgamation of vocal licks throughout.

Sally C’s interpretation of ‘Right Now’ follows next, extracting all of the raw rave energy of the original and reshaping it with bumpy drum breaks and a dynmically unfolding structure for a more frenzied, playful twist on things.
