Continuing its onslaught of releases, Tidy isn’t taking its foot off the gas as it celebrates a mammoth 25 years in the game. Combining a retrospective view with innovative future planning, the harder side of house titans are reworking some of their classics with some of the biggest names in the business. Next up on Untidy UX is Sam Divine remixing Lisa Lashes’ 2000 anthem ‘Lookin’ Good.’ 

Set for release on the 28^th May, Sam’s tech-house remix gives the single a fresh lease of life that very much represents the forward-thinking attitude of Tidy’s current activities. Featuring a pedal-to-the-metal, no-nonsense back beat that drives the groove forward relentlessly, the Defected DJ is going all-in with this one. The synth and sample stabs transform the iconic original melody, making this one a hands-in-the-air masterclass. On her remix Sam added:

‘Tidy Trax has been a stand out record label for me for over two decades so when the opportunity came knocking to remix a record from one of my favourite female DJ’s from back in the day it was an honour. I remember raving to ‘Looking Good’ in fluffy boots so this one brings back all the feels.’ 

After just receiving heavy radio support from Danny Howard and Pete Tong for Sorley’s remix of ‘Untidy Dubs,’ Tidy is working its way through a plethora of new releases on its Untidy and UX Project. Nicole Moudaber, Max Chapman, Piero Pirupa, Josh Butler, David Rust, Jacky, Denney and Matt Smallwood are all in the release schedule, diversifying the historical sound in a bid to attract new generations of producers and supporters. Sam Divine’s remix is one of many huge records to be released as Tidy start their next 25 years.
