Lux Groove first showed up on the Dirtybird radar last year when he got his collaboration signed with Mark Starr, ‘That’s What’, to the Grill$son’s Revenge BBQ compilation. Rooted in hip-hop and drum & bass and at one time a regular on the DMC battle circuit, it’s almost as if he was naturally groomed for Dirtybird.

‘Gee Up’ is Lux Groove’s first solo EP for the Dirtybird family, which features two tracks that VonStroke and the Family have been using to get massive reactions. The title track, a rolling groove with a filtered acid line and just enough drop to get the crowd worked up.

The EP is complimented by ‘Ride Low’, which has that magical Dirtybird potion of bass, quirkiness and style we love so much.
