Another month, another Short Circuit release, this time from the talented pairing of Matt Egbert & Shuski who drop their new single titled ‘The Place’.

Hailing from California, Matt Egbert is no stranger to making quality tracks. With releases on top labels such as Do Not Sleep and Andhera Records, his productions are as good as it gets. His partner in crime, fellow Californian, Shuski, has the ear for the underground, as evidenced by his previous releases on such labels as Desert Hearts, CR2 and Material, to name but a few, Together, this pair delivers a top notch roller on their home label.

Their groovy single, ‘The Place’ is just what the doctor ordered when it comes to injecting some good vibes into your next set. Building up steam from the first beat with a rolling bassline and subtle percussion, it quickly shifts gears when the beat drops. A really solid track with loads of cool vocal samples, deep synth sounds and excellent & exciting drops that keeps things moving from start to finish.
