Matteo Gatti reveals three fresh cuts across ‘New Deal’ on Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s MÜSE.

A mainstay within the Italian house and techno scene for over a decade, Rimini-based DJ and producer Matteo Gatti has played across Italy’s most illustrious venues, including Cocorico Buongiorno Classic and Tenax. Having dropped material via Neverdogs’ Bamboleo and Riva Starr’s Snatch!, he closes May with a slick first appearance on Dennis Cruz and Eddy M’s label MUSE with this three-track EP, ‘New Deal’.

Title track ‘New Deal’ is a slinking roller fusing resonant percussion with rich stabs, dubby chords and sweeping electronics to showcase a deep yet punchy opener made for open air spaces and dark main rooms alike. Next, ‘Hello’ ups the energy as driving low-ends and warped vocals work amongst further drum work before closing via the squelching basslines and tumbling melodies of final production, ‘Romano’.
