Ky William’s Andera Records keeps the dance floors moving with the impressive new release ‘Yah’ from Brazilian based pair Melanie Ribbe and Jonatas C.

Since her first release back in 2018, German born and Jamaican raised Melanie Ribbe has released on prestigious labels such as Moon Harbour, Saved, Avotre, Do Not Sleep and her own label Agape Muzik, whilst the fast rising Brazilian talent of Jonatas has been releasing music since 2014 across a wide spectrum of labels which include Under No Illusion, Clarisse Records and Innocent Music. Between them their music has been supported by the likes of Marco Carola, Nic Fanciulli, Paco Osuna, Hector Couto, Camelphat, Matthias Tanzmann and more.

For the pair’s first release on Andhera they deliver a dance floor ready two tracker titled ‘Yah’. The title and lead track, is a hypnotic rolling track taking its essence from both the minimal deep tech and tech house genres. Combining tripped out percussion and the deep feel of minimal deep tech, the pair add the rolling bass and power of a tech house track to the groove whilst its topped off with meandering incidentals, stabs and vocal cuts to give it identity.

Track 2 is ‘Wine It’, which right from the off gets straight in the powerful energetic bassline groove to ensure everyone is dancing. Add to it some vocal cuts to give some identity, and well crafted arrangement to ensure dance floor mayhem, this track completes a great release that is perfect for dance floors around the world to enjoy this year.
