The german giant Solomun remix’s Paul Kalkbrenner’s ‘Cloud Rider’, out very soon on Columbia Records. Diynamic label owner has had huge success in the past with his re-edits and remixes. Notably Foals, Noir & Haze and Lana Del Rey’s ‘West Coast’.

Once again Solomun brings that emotional roller coaster to the table. Ever so present on the underground music circuit we find it hard to believe how he finds time to produce such grounded music. Maybe its all that inspiration in the air when he travels the world.

‘Cloud Rider’ is brought to club scene, Solomun adding his subtle drum and percussion work, keeping intact the main vocal with little effect. The breakdowns really emphasise the vocal. The vocal should be familiar to some of you. D Train’s ‘You’re the one for me’.
