“Slow Town” celebrates its tenth release with founder “Rhythm&Soul” bringing another solid track to reinforce this labels impact on the scene. Following on from the likes of Norm Talley, Joe Babylon, Jef K and QX-1 this June see’s the ‘Slow Town X’ EP.

A vinyl-only imprint, Slow Town was started by Rhythm&Soul (Joaquin Diaz) in 2012.The label is Regularly supported by the likes of Dj Sneak, Chris Carrier, Djulz, Djebali, Mr Ks, S3A, Norm Talley, Motor City Soul and Detroit Swindle, making us think this track will be no different.

Mellow and hypnotic, ‘Lost Grooves’ is a candid cut with an old school flavour that emits soul from the off. ‘Cookies’ is then a classic sampling house number apt for the dancefloor with its chunky 909 beats, before ‘When He Goes Deep’ drives you through a mesmerising trip with its commanding percussion, ethereal pads and infectious vox sample.
