Richy Ahmed is back on home turf, his third release on Hot Creations titled ‘So Good’. The two part EP is scheduled for an end of April release. The EP is a follow up to his ‘Essential New Tune’ ‘The Drums’ and the well received 50th release for Hot Creations ‘Sneaky Acid’.

Since making an introduction on Hot Creations with ‘The Drums’ back in 2013, Ahmed’s populate has sky rocketed. A leading artist in the spectrum of underground electronic music. Labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Circus, Hotflush and Suara have acquired the talents of Ahmed over the last few months. But we feel he always save’s his best for the Hot Creations imprint.

“I’m really excited about my third release on Hot Creations and my first release for 2016! Two house jams both with a different style. ‘So Good’ is a perfect summer groover that I think fits in lots of different sets. ‘Ruff N Raw’, as the name describes, is quite a tough house banger. I’ve been playing them both and for months they have been been killing it on the dance floor for me.” – Richy Ahmed

‘So Good’ is a disco jackin anthem, crisp hi hats, deep bass line and a vocal loop give the track a real flavour. On the flip side, ‘Rough and Raw’ is the bad boy of the EP. Choppy vocals a solid groove and huge kick drum round bring a different character to the EP.

With a label and club night ‘FourThirtyTwo’ in the making, Ahmed can do no wrong at the moment.
