Robert James, one of Hot Creations favourites, is making his debut on Steve Lawler’s VIVa Music. ‘Seagate / House Invader’ is fully loaded with three original tracks and a super heavy weight remix from house legends Groove Armada, who deliver a ‘Terrace’ and ‘Dub’ remixes.

‘Seagate’ is rich with energy, and has that sunshine kiss to it. With rolling grooves and unforgettable vocals this combination should play well across the summer. Track two ‘House Invader’ has the Robert James feel all over it, Swinging bassline, sharp kick and tight percussion work backed up with hip hop esc vocal.

Groove Armada have been busy of late, with a full compilation soon to be released on Moda Black, the guys are really writing a new chapter in their illustrious career. Catching the feel of ‘House Invader’, the ‘Terrace Mix’ strips solid percussion into a dramatic synth affair, and a digital ‘Dub Mix’ is also on the agenda.

“These tracks would still be sat on my computer if it wasn’t for my good mate Mark Jenkyns playing ‘Seagate’ in Miami where Steve Lawler first heard it. For the past two years I’ve not really done much in regards to production as I’ve always been more of a DJ than producer, but I do love producing so decided it’s time to get back into it again. Happy to finally get these tracks out and thanks to the VIVa crew for taking them and getting the mighty Groove Armada to remix ‘House Invader'”
