Seb Zito drops his first release of the year on his respected Seven Dials Records imprint, releasing his two track ‘When You EP’ where he showcases his ever more sophisticated sound.

In the last 12 months Zito has released his mature and cultured sounds on select profile labels, like Revival NYC, Eastenderz, Pets Recordings, Four Thirty Two, Coco, Do Not Sleep and Seven Dials. Never one to pigeon hole his sound, his releases have transcended the genre spectrum from UK G and Electronica through to Minimal Deep Tech and Tech House, as he consistently delivers underground club cuts that keep clubbers enthralled and on the floor. His recent releases have been supported not only by the scene’s glitterati, but also by the scene’s youngest and brightest talents, as he carves out a unique musical path that is slightly left of centre yet always in tone for the audience.

His new release ‘When You EP’ showcases this, with the lead and title track of the EP, leading from the front foot with its breakbeat electronica essence right from the get-go. Adding a delicate soft vocal which complements the dream-like atmosphere and this is a track for those with a discerning ear and for lovers of contemporary artists such as Bicep, Dusky, Floating Points and Four Tet.

On the flip side is ‘Let’s Go!’ where Zito reverts to a four to the floor beat, keeping things gritty with a gnarly bassline groove and loads of energy, whilst retaining the left of centre feel that has made his sound increasingly popular over recent years.
