New on DFTD, a double helping of remixes of ‘Isuly’ from up-and-comer Emanuel Satie and Worthy, the Anabatic label head who’s undoubtedly at the top of his game right now.

The original track, by French DJs Spencer K and Matt Sassari, is a thumping, almost progressive house track. Worthy’s remix delivers that unmistakable Dirtybird kick and in true Worthy style, takes the track deeper than ever; the rattling breakdown midway through bears all the hallmarks of a classic, club-favourite Worthy tune. With dedication and a depth of insight into his audiences, Worthy produces with clubs in mind, making tracks ‘ like this one ‘ that create palpable love on the dancefloor. Emanuel Satie’s remix follows the same thumping formula but takes a more simplified, expansive approach. The unrelenting 4/4 beat is cranked way up and, like all of Emanuel’s output at the moment, it’s brim full of dancefloor energy.
