Italian pair Supernova are back with three more of their essential club grooves, this time on Nick Curly and Gorge’s long running and influential 8Bit records.

This Italian pair consisting of Emiliano ‘Emijay’ Nencioni and Giacomo ‘G.O.D.I’ Godi have been hitting the big time for the last decade plus. They release on their own Lapsus Music as well as big labels like Get Physical, Elrow and now prove why they’re at the top of their game once more.

Up first, The Wild Weekend is a turbocharged tech tune with big drums and chattery claps as well as some huge chord stabs. It is high impact and high energy and sure to get a rise out of the floor.

Detuned is next and is a deeper more physical affair. It has driving drums and lush layers of synth all building to a big peak. Great spacey sounds add depth and the whole thing really gets into your brain.

Last off is Shuffle Time, a playful house track with metallic hi hat ringlets and bouncy drums all shot through with elastic synths. Vocal yelps and sonic fireworks all help colour in the grooves and again this one is sure to do plenty of damage on the floor.

This is an essential tech house EP that is sure to get hammered all over this winter and well beyond.
