Mark Knights Toolroom label are back with their ‘Toolroom Live’ series, with the second edition mixed by Eelke Kleijn, Prok & Fitch and Boris. The first saw Mark Knight & Adrian Hour bring the mix live and direct, now its the turn of three rising stars of the Toolroom family.

The three lads Eelke Kleijn, Prok & Fitch and Boris pick up the ‘Toolroom Live’ series with an understated track selection, show casing a spectrum of the labels musical space. Mark Knight has chosen these three artists to reflect the future sound of the Toolroom imprint, and reflect their indivudal styles on each of the Mixes.

Eelke Kleijn provided the first mix with the deeper edge of the Toolroom label, with two exclusive tracks from Kleijn, ‘The Voices’ and ‘Oranje Liefde’ fit well within in the mix. Eelke Kleijn also includes 7 originals and remixes from past EP’s. Tiger Stripes has really hit the nail on the head recently and his ‘Crossroads’ also gets a feature on the mix.

Toolrom regulars Prok & Fitch have been releasing tracks on the label for a few years now, and it was no surprise that they were hand picked by Mark, to lay down a mix for the series. Deftly and smoothly weaving from house to techno, and back again, the energy found in their DJ sets is indisputable. No strangers to the main room sound; their disc is chock full with 4 of their own original productions, including their new album exclusive ‘Tripwire’. Our two tastemakers also meticulously selected tracks from fellow artists Chus & Ceballos, Filterheadz, Traumer, and Technasia to round out their 19 track, masterclass mix.

Boris rounds the second edition of ‘Toolroom Live’ with a tough edge techno. Well known for his legendary parties and extended DJ sets, Boris has been a long time fixture at the biggest clubs in New York City, Miami, and the world. With his recent EP ‘Over It’ on Toolroom Trax still smashing the charts, Boris jumps straight into his mix with his signature chugging sound. Gary Beck, Carlo Lio, Luigi Madonna & Ramiro Lopez are just a little bit of what you can expect on this venture through upfront Techno.
