Supernova are proud to unveil a special BPM sampler ahead of their appearance at this year’s BPM Festival. The annual gathering of the scene’s best DJs and producers is held in Mexico and is an unofficial conference that can make or break certain tunes, so this 16 track selection on their Lapsus Music label comes just when it is needed.

The compilation showcases the label’s great breadth and depth and shows off how much talent they have at their disposal. The bosses themselves appear as do Channel X, Horatio, Piem, Agent! & Dompe, Jack Swaffer and many more.

Supernova’s The Roots kicks things off with nearly eight minutes of bumping tech that has slick drums and groovy hi hats topped by a catchy cool latin flavored vocal. From there Channel offer the dark and spacey Shifted Reality with its bulbous bass and spacious grooves. Horatio keeps things upbeat with a fresh house offering that hits hard and Sante Sansone keeps things slick and slinky with his turbo charged tech number Blow Up.

Fans of darker fair will be into Heaven by Petros Odin, with its snaking bass and sweeping, rasping synths. More vocal laced and playful, party starting tackle comes in the form of Move from Francesco Dinoia and the brilliantly titled Can You Eat Human Flesh With Wooden Teeth then pops off with sleazy drums, big rubber hits and churning drums that suck you right in. The likes of Tucci, Lena Estetica, Omar Labastida and Jacopo Susini then shut things down with more hi energy, high impact house tunes that will get any dance floor really pumping.

All in all this is a fine collection of tracks that offers plenty of stylish beats and covers plenty of musical ground for lovers of all types of house and techno.
