Yard One & Adventures In Daydreams release their collaborative EP ‘Apportion’ out at the end of October with four original tracks, two from each artist. Three years heading up Tact Recordings with releases from the likes of Duijn & Douglas, Tevo Howard, Mr.G, Isherwood and Oli Furness. Label founder Jordan Bruce steps up to provide some killer cuts under the guise Yard One. Backing him up on the EP is co-founder Richard ‘RJ’ Fletcher & Alex Brown under their Adventures In Daydreams alias.

Yard One starts proceedings with ‘Equinox’, a melancholic pad line and wandering arpeggio giving the track some really dark but dreamy atmospheric vibes. Second track ‘My Desire’ from Adventures In Daydreams which take that dreamy feeling further with soft chord progressions and wandering bell chimes generating an entrancing feel, while the sporadic synth licks and fluttering rhythm keep things in an ever-enticing state.

On the flip side ‘Rozenstraat’ and ‘Set Bias’ have some really tight production work going on with both of the tracks having a sub heavy feel to them with some mesmerising string work.
