The Essential Mix has been an integral part of my raving culture. One of the mixes that always sticks in my mind is Cassius from 1999. It was the soundtrack to lots of amazing parties back in the day, before I even dreamt about being a DJ. The thought of me actually doing an Essential Mix now, considering I’ve been listening for the last 15 years, for a kid like me it doesn’t get any better than this.
