UK DJ/producer Ben Jones makes his debut on Hector Couto’s Roush this January, with a remix provided by fellow Liverpool talent and Circus regular David Glass.

A rising name within the UK and Europe, Liverpool’s Ben Jones is certainly beginning to grab the attention of some of the biggest names in house and techno, following notable support from the likes of Skream, Joris Voorn and Marco Carola during 2017. An A&R alongside SEFF at Mirror Numbers, Jones has also gone on to release on a host of imprints including the likes of Under No Illusion, YAYA Records and Carpe Diem Musica.

Opening things up, ‘Value Slap’ welcomes Norwegian producer/vocalist Marck Jamz, known for his work on the likes of Nervous NYC, Defected and Cajual amongst many, as sharp drum licks are layered amongst metallic tones and rumbling low ends,, before title cut Check It Out’ is a bumping house cut that sees Jones combine driving basslines and punchy kicks with a series of infectious vocal hooks.

Lastly, Circus favourite David Glass offers up his groove focused interpretation of the ‘Value Slap’, laying the focus on shuffling percussion, whilst echoing out the originals vocals to round up an impressive debut on the label from Ben Jones.
