Having impressed recently with releases via Roush and NONSTOP, Black Girl / White Girl return to Twisted Fusion with the highly contagious ‘Planet Phatt’ EP.

Amsterdam duo Black Girl / White Girl have had a stellar 2017. Their Roush EP ‘No Beef’ was a favorite with Hector Couto, Nicole Moudaber, and Music On residents Neverdogs. Their follow-up single ‘Mana Controller’ released on NONSTOP was supported across the underground scene and played by heavyweights Marco Carola, Leon, Gorgon City, Pirupa and Max Chapman.

The pair now look set to kickstart the year in style with the seriously impressive ‘Planet Phatt’ EP, which includes ‘Stargazer’, ‘The Last Martian’, ‘Do 4 Me’ and a remix of ‘Do 4 Me’ by Greek-born talent Tennan (Moon Harbour, Repopulate Mars).

Coming straight out of the underground, ‘Stargazer’ is an anthemic main room dominator that’s surely going to bring the heat over the winter months. Second track ‘The Last Martian’ then, is a moody four-to-the-floor banger laced with captivating rhythms, dreamy soundscapes and warped out synths.

Third track ‘Do 4 Me’ is a bass-loaded, dubby groover with a rolling wave of crisp hi-hats and subtle atmospherics, all culminating in a driving rhythm that makes it perfectly primed for the dancefloor.

For the last track on the EP, Moon Harbour’s Tennan reimagines ‘Do 4 Me’ into a colorful party starter with distinct percussions and cleverly placed vocal cuts, underpinned by one of his signature grooving, expressive bass lines.

These bombs are aimed squarely at the club and look set to obliterate dance floors over the coming weeks, months and beyond. Don’t sleep on this one!
