Eats Everything’s highly regarded Edible imprint returns with the excellent single ‘First Night Out’ by label friends & Pets Recordings owners Catz ‘N Dogz. The package comes complete with a remix from the label head honcho himself.

Polish duo Catz ‘n Dogz have enjoyed a stellar and prolific career over the last 15 years, releasing credible underground house music on the world’s biggest independent labels such as Defected, Diynamic and Dirtybird. In addition to their own productions, they have remixed or collaborations with names like The Chemical Brothers, Roisin Murphy and Disclosure.

Their debut release on Edible has delivered a track that everyone is desperate for right now, the ‘First Night Out’. The record is a classy dance floor cut of delectable underground Tech House, which leans more towards Techno than to House. Chunky driving house beats combine with signature techno lead synths, and FX topped off with a sterling vocal. On the flip side, the Eats Everything remix offers a house take on the original using a more refined kick whilst adding percussive fills to complete the groove. An array of sounds with influences from bass, garage, and house merge to create the perfect b side.

‘First Night Out’ is a superb release to welcome back one of the scene’s most esteemed labels, with a record that sure to fire up dance floors as they slowly return around the world.

Eats Everything says on the restart of the label….. ‘Other than releasing Seb Zito’s amazing album, ‘Truth In My Steps’, we took time off of releasing music through edible until we could see the end in sight for this strange period in our lives. As of now, we are fully back with a bang, new original artwork by the extremely talented Kate Elkington and loads of amazing music forthcoming, starting with a brand new single by Catz n Dogz. They were instrumental in carving out the beginnings of my music career and now, on my 10th anniversary as Eats Everything I am releasing music by them on my label. We’ve gone full circle, and the record is absolutely mint. I can’t wait to unleash it. Oh, and there is a remix by me to boot so, sit back, relax, drop your trousers and have a lovely lovely time because edible is back baby. Xx’
