Warung Recordings is back with a great new EP that continues to build on the success of their first 17. This one comes from Danny Daze and rHr and features two top tracks that will make a big mark this summer.

Danny Daze is a DJ and producer from the US who is hard dot pin down. His style goes from deep hose to electro to techno and always sounds fresh and arresting. He releases on a wide range of essential labels and this latest is no different. This release finds him teaming up with the latest addition to the Warung family, rHr, to great effect.

Opener ‘Ginga’ is a booty shaking tune with slithering electro bass, pinging rubbery drums and sultry vocals. It will make floors go wild with its slick and clean production and opens the EP in style. ‘Ologram’ is darker and moire. This one is a deep house groove with soft hi hats adding a fuzzy feel to well swung wooden hits. Brooding and moody throughout, it is one for the backrooms and basements that real heads will lap right up.

All in all this is a well formed little package that will do plenty of damage in the hands of the right DJ.
