Diego Krause’s Unison Wax returns this September wit his ‘Trial & Error’ EP, comprising four groove-driven house cuts from the Berlin native.

Diego Krause has grown to become one of the most respected figures in raw, understated and stripped-back house music over the past few years both on his home turf of Berlin and further afield across the globe. Releasing a steady stream of material on labels such as Apollonia, Pleasure Zone, Rawax, Beste Modus and of course Unison Wax, co-run alongside fellow Beste Modus co-founder Cinthie, where he returns to here.

‘Ananda’ leads on the package with bumpy, swinging drums, driving stab sequences, metallic synth chimes and ethereal pad swells before ‘Centrum’ follows with rounded sub bass driving the groove whilst choppy synth licks, bumpy snares and raw stabs wander within.

Opening the flip side is ‘Superposition’ which lays focus on skippy hats and weighty, low-end pulsations running alongside intricately evolving, dynamic percussion and dubby synth echoes. ‘Heliosphere’ then rounds out the package with billowing electronic chord sequences and hypnotic atmospherics floating above a sturdy rhythmic foundation.
