Returning to Catz ‘n Dogz’ Pets label after last year’s gritty ‘Glass Mistress’ EP, Muniz twists expectations and lays down three of her most positive, dancefloor-affirming tracks to date. A much lighter take on the techno/disco/house playground she loves to occupy, each cut seems tailor made for this new wave of rave freedom many of us are enjoying.

‘Mindcraft’ ignites the set with timeless proggy vocal layers and a journey-like hook that sparkles with its arpeggiated twists and turns. ‘Flashes On The Floor’ is much more driven, technoid affair balancing a bulbous acid groove with big emotional synth blasts and electro vocal. ‘Friends & Benefits’ brings Joyce’s trio of originals to a triumphant finale with its hypnotic radar swing, marching beats and powerful flashes of hope pushing us through to the very end.

Vibrant, energetic and laced with enough positivity and emotional drive to soundtrack a million new dancefloor moments, they’re backed with an equally earnest and deliciously cosmic remix of ‘Mindcraft’ by Dutch duo Fouk. Time to get flashy.
