Deeperfect is the label run by Italian techno tastemaker Stefano Noferini, and it is one that always comes up with the most essential club tracks of the day. Once again it does that here with a fresh offering from Leonardo Gonnelli featuring remixes from Vacant’s Matthias Kaden.

With a career spanning more than a decade and a plethora of world-­’renowned events under his belt, Leonardo Gonnelli is no stranger to the big stage. Having risen through the ranks of the Florentine house scene, Leonardo comes armed with a rich catalogue of musical knowledge, which has gained the attention of the industry’s finest.

His offering here Whaa is a deep and involving house roller with cool vocal stabs and plenty of tension and drama in the way the hits and claps build to a big peak. When the tune drops and bounces along, the floor will go wild. Veteran tech house star Matthias Kaden then offers two versions, one which is bassline driven and retro in style, and one that is punchy and physical and forces you to dance. All in all it is another great offering.
