Returning to Deeperfect, Russian producer Yulia Niko drops her ‘Man Like Star’ single with remixes from Conceptual’s Farid Odilbekov and Lauter Unfug’s August Artier.

Niko’s perpetual rise is indisputable as she continues to release on labels like Plant 74, Rebellion, Hottrax, Get Physical, and Crosstown Rebels. She’s also behind Libe Vibe which has released music from the likes of Enzo Leep, Mendoza, and Rich NxT. Having released and remixed for Deeperfect last year, she now returns to Stefano Noferini’s label with a quality single further cementing her reputation as one of house and techno’s most exciting fresh talents.

‘Man Like Star’ meanders forward with firm kicks and rattling shakers, soon joined by deep chords and a spoken vocal sample before a sultry bassline and skippy snares are added to the equation. Providing the first of two remixes, Moscow’s Farid Odilbekov’s take is intricate and hypnotic thanks to soaring pads, shuffling percussion and a funky bassline. Tying it all together, Libe Vibe producer August Artier’s rhythmic remix ups the energy and deploys a wide range of drums, trippy atmospherics and crystalline stabs.
