Maxxi Soundsystem & Christophe collaborate on the first Me Me Me release of 2021 which comes backed with a remix from the label boss Man Power himself.

Man Power’s Me Me Me imprint had yet another impressive year in 2020 which included releases from the likes of Last Magpie, Marske, Club Tularosa, in addition to further outings on the sub-label Ape-X and the ‘Remixes by Man Power (2013-2016)’ compilation. This latest chapter entitled ‘Batbox’ sees London-born DJ-producer Maxxi Soundsystem who is known for releases on Moda Black, Culprit and Ellum Audio, join forces with Bristol-based DJ, producer and Futureboogie artist Christophe, who makes his return to Me Me Me for the first time since his ‘Rok The Hall/Like That’ EP back in 2019.

‘Batbox’ gets things rolling with spiraling synths floating above the sparkling melodies and ethereal fx  laced with cosmic energy before ‘Airheads’ keeps the engaging vibrations flowing with warm low frequencies, shimmering drums and rubbery pulsations.

The majestic acid twitches fused with celestial keys and sweeping pads underneath makes way for ‘Buffalo’ until label boss Man Power offers up his trademark ‘intergalactic house’ style in his remix of ‘Airheads’ as the fluid rhythms using variations of organic percussion balance delightfully with charming leads and dreamy chords.
