Live house music collective Bassically joins Fossil Sounds with a spirited house single including remixes from Maxxi Soundsystem, Chris Watson & Ollie Weeks.

The emerging collective of artists, led by Raz Olsher, which form Bassically have been causing a stir with their humanised interpretation of house music classics. Their awe-inspiring live performances have gained the support of Kerri Chandler, Shadow Child, Matthew Herbert, A’me and DJ Zinc, in addition to landing them releases on labels such as Noir Music and Black Butter Records. The group now return to Fossil Sounds with ‘Introducing 02’ which includes remixes from Futureboogie’s, Bristol-based producer Maxxi Soundsystem and the multifaceted artist Chris Watson and Vamos Music’s Ollie Weeks joining forces.

‘Walk Right In’ swings with tight kicks, bubbling bass, rattling shakers, soulful vocals and subtle key before Maxxi Soundsystem’s remix goes darker with thumping sub-frequencies, shuffling synths, reworked and chopped up vocals and slick hats. Finally, Chris Watson & Ollie Weeks’ remix drops an energetic rhythm, euphoric builds, bouncing bass and shimmering percussion.
